Our dreams. Our skills. Our future. Our Canada.
Youth Careers Canada is a Canadian job bank for people early in their working life. We connect young people across Canada with internships, co-ops, part-time work and first careers, and we let employers and third-party consultants post those roles at published prices.

Most job boards are built for people who already have a career. This one is built for people starting one.
That is the whole idea behind the name. Youth Careers Canada.
If you are a student, a co-op candidate, a new graduate or someone in your first few years of work, you already know the problem. The listing wants three years of experience for an entry-level job. The location is a city, not an address. The pay is "competitive". You send the application into a void.
Youth Careers Canada is built the other way round. Every posting carries a real work address, the pay and its period, the experience level actually required and the employer's operating name. You can filter by career stage, so a student sees part-time work and a graduate sees roles that take people with no experience yet. You apply with the resume already on your profile, and you can see the status of every application in one place.
The other side is just as plain. A posting costs $19.95 CAD + GST per month, and it renews every month until you cancel. A third-party consultant, a recruiter or staffing agency posting on behalf of client companies, pays $14.95 + GST per month, and can also hold one profile per client under a single sign-in. No sales call, no bidding for visibility, no per-applicant fee, and nothing at all charged to the person applying.
Five stages. One job bank.
A student, a graduate and a qualified tradesperson are the same audience at different points. Pick the stage you are at and the search is already filtered.
-
Students
Part-time work you can hold down while you study.
-
Internships & Co-ops
Internships, co-ops and apprenticeships that count toward your program.
-
Graduates
First full-time roles, including ones that take you with no experience yet.
-
Early Career
Entry-level and junior work for your first few years out.
-
Skilled Careers
Trade and technical roles for people who already have the hours behind them.
Start from the stage you are at
A student can search part-time student jobs, someone finishing school can browse internships and co-ops or graduate roles, and anyone in their first few years of work can filter for entry-level and junior openings. People who already have a trade or a technical skill behind them can go straight to skilled careers in healthcare and nursing, IT and software, engineering, construction and skilled trades, transportation and logistics and accounting and finance.
Search by province and territory
Every posting carries a full work address, so you can search exactly where you want to work. Browse Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Yukon, the Northwest Territories or Nunavut. Popular city searches include jobs in Toronto, jobs in Vancouver, jobs in Calgary, jobs in Montreal, jobs in Edmonton, jobs in Ottawa, jobs in Winnipeg and jobs in Halifax.
Two ways in, three steps each.
Whichever side you are on, you can be finished in an afternoon.

What we hold ourselves to.
Four promises we would want from a job bank if we were the ones applying.
-
Every stage counts
A first part-time job and a skilled trade role belong on the same job bank. We build for every career stage, from student to skilled trade, not just the ones that are easy to sell against.
-
Accessible by default
Semantic headings, keyboard navigation, visible focus, labelled fields and readable contrast, on every screen size. If something gets in your way, tell us and we will fix it.
-
Privacy under PIPEDA
We collect only what the job bank needs. Your resume is served through authorised routes and reaches only the employer behind a job you chose to apply to. Read the policy.
-
Prices you can see
One published rate per posting, in Canadian dollars, with GST shown separately and a numbered receipt for every charge. Nothing is charged to a job seeker at any point.

How do employers reach youth and student job seekers?
Post the job on Youth Careers Canada. Postings are shown to young job seekers searching the site, sent in matching job alerts and published with Google for Jobs markup, so students, graduates and early-career candidates across Canada can find them.
How it works 6 questions
Does a job posting need a full work address?
Yes. Every posting created on Youth Careers Canada needs at least one complete work location — street address, city, province and postal code — and a posting may list several addresses when the job is offered at more than one site. Job seekers see each address in full on the posting, Job Bank style. The employer’s operating (trade) name is shown first, with the legal company name beneath it.
How does renewal work, and can I cancel?
A posting runs for a month and then renews automatically every month until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard: choose to keep the job live until the end of the current paid period, or take it down immediately. There is no cancellation fee.
What happens to a job posting when it expires, is cancelled or is paused?
Expired, cancelled and inactive (paused) postings are archived: they disappear from search results, job alerts, the sitemap and their public page, but the posting and its applicants stay in your dashboard so you can review applications or duplicate the job and post it again.
What resume formats can I upload?
You can upload a resume as a PDF, Word document (.doc) or Word Open XML document (.docx) up to 5 MB. Your resume is stored securely and shared only with the employer or consultant behind a job you choose to apply to.
How are job alerts matched to my profile?
Job alerts use the preferences in your profile — categories, province and city, job type, work arrangement, experience level and the audiences you identify with. When a newly published job matches, we email you on the schedule you choose and show the match on your dashboard.
Can I use a posting for LMIA recruitment advertising?
Every posting has a dated, printable record of advertisement — the posting ID, the date it was posted, how many days it has been published, its status and the address it is published at — that you can print or save as a PDF and keep for your LMIA file. Youth Careers Canada is an independent job board: whether an advertisement meets the requirements for your application is decided by Employment and Social Development Canada, not by us.
